Earn game money for correct answers but be careful because you will lose money for wrong answers. Then you can use the game money to unlock the rest of the categories for study. If you really can't tell what the picture is, there is a 'peek' option but it will cost you game money to do so. There is no pinyin so you will be training your listening abilities here and concentrating on recognising the characters. If you feel you can't tell what is being said in Chinese you should try our sister app 'Learn Chinese Characters 500' which features videos of a native speaker saying the words. That way you will see the mouth of the native speaker and recognise the sounds no problem. - audio for every word from a native Chinese speaker with very standard mandarin pronuncatiation - an option to disable the characters for an audio only test - nine categories in all with many useful vocabulary in each - features a study mode where you can browse through the words separately as well as view the associated image and listen to the audio pronunciation - game in available in both English and French modes
